Parent Information Sessions
Parenting in a digital age can be complex and challenging. As the trusted adults in our children’s lives, we can support them to maximise the benefits and minimise the risks. Kaylene Kerr from eSafeKids will present two parent education sessions and two related incursions at Beehive in Term 4. We encourage you to attend both of these informative parent information evenings to get comprehensive and evidence-based information and suggested resources. Cyber Safety and Digital Wellness- Tuesday 24^th October 6.30-9.00pm
The internet has transformed the way we learn, create, connect and are entertained. Whilst there are many benefits, there are also risks. This information session covers a variety of topics, including media literacy, screen time, ‘tech’ tantrums, gaming and social media, digital footprint and digital reputation. Middle, Upper and Adolescent students will take part in workshops throughout the day, with similar topics at an age-appropriate level.
